Ages 3-6

A ballet/tap combo class is a dance class that combines elements of both ballet and tap dance styles, providing students with a diverse and well-rounded dance experience. This type of class is often designed for young dancers, typically ranging from preschool to early elementary school age, as it introduces them to the basics of two distinct dance forms in a fun and engaging way.

TAP

A tap dance class is a dynamic and rhythmic dance session that focuses on creating sounds and rhythms through the movement of the feet, often using special shoes with metal plates on the sole. Tap dancing is characterized by its lively and percussive nature, with dancers using their feet as instruments to produce intricate and syncopated rhythms. Tap classes cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, and provide a structured environment for learning and refining tap dance techniques.

Contemporary

A contemporary dance class is a creative and expressive movement session that blends various dance styles, focusing on self-expression, versatility, and pushing the boundaries of traditional dance techniques. Contemporary dance encourages dancers to explore new ways of moving, often incorporating elements from modern dance, ballet, jazz, and improvisation. This style prioritizes emotional and artistic expression, allowing dancers to convey personal stories and feelings through their movements.

Jazz

Our jazz class is a dance session that combines the energy and flair of jazz dance with the theatricality and storytelling elements of Broadway-style performances. This dance style draws inspiration from both traditional jazz dance techniques and the dynamic choreography seen in musical theater productions. In this class, dancers learn to express emotions, tell stories, and capture the essence of stage quality performances through their movements.

It is characterized by its fluid and graceful movements that often convey deep emotions and lyrical themes. Lyrical dance is known for its connection to music, allowing dancers to convey the lyrics and emotions of a song through their choreography.

MODERN

In this Modern Dance class, we blend the revolutionary techniques to create a holistic approach to movement. These techniques emphasize breath, contraction, release, and intricate body isolations to convey emotion, strength, and storytelling through movement.
